Kapaw and Nico's Infinite Fractal Explorer
From a simple test of making a Mandelbrot explorer from my grandson, Nico, is
now an out-of-controli1 app supporting many fractals and palettes, 32-bit and 64-bit float zoom, and "infinite' zooming using Perturbation Theory.
KNIFE now even renders Mandelbrots in 3D! (Mandelbulb, Mandelbox, and infinite variations on them with palettes, animated shaders, and by changing the trigonmetric functions that define them.
See the images and videos on the linked page, and try it yourself.
1 by "out-of-control" I mean to say that in order to support the explosion of controls added while experimenting with integrating volumetric fractals, I ended up implementing essentially a window manager in html/js (React), and then within thatpparadigm, virtual workspaces, and even that got unwieldy with so many control panels open, blocking your view of the fractal you are working with so that workspace even now has an experimental tab bar, with auto-hide.
